Using the arts in projects that work with people to re-imagine the places they live and then participate in creating the future we would like to see for Dumfries. Through workshops, talks, exhibitions and events for all to come and enjoy, we take ideas forward to be included in the decisions made about the places we live.
Projects that have fitted within this strand including our ongoing projects Making Dumfries, We Live With Water and our sign painting project. Find out more information about each of these by clicking on the links in the text.

The Stove’s programme is made up of five strands of activity, Future Vision, Word, Music, Food and Visual – these help inform and direct our current core areas of interest. If you have an interesting idea that you think would fit into one of our strands that you would like to make happen at the Stove, details of how to submit project ideas are available here.
